Ever wonder what actually happens in a T-group?

You’re about to join 12 startup leaders as they embark on their first “T-group”—three days of unstructured group discussion that somehow lead to profound interpersonal learning.

One part novel, one part business fable and one part self-coaching resource, JUNCTURE is a genre-defying mashup.

Whether you’re T-group “curious” or a T-group alum, this book will take you on an emotional and insightful T-group journey—without ever having to leave your couch.

Praise for Juncture

If you’ve ever been curious about the magical experience that is a T-group, look no further. Written by a deeply experienced facilitator, JUNCTURE is the best way to learn about a T-group without actually attending one! As someone who has gained so much learning and growth from T-groups and Anamaria personally, I highly recommend this book!
— Alyssa Ravasio, Founder & CEO of Hipcamp
JUNCTURE was so vivid I felt like I was sitting in the T-group myself! Anamaria deftly interweaves a fictional story with core concepts that have — no exaggeration — changed my life.
— Rajiv Ayyangar, CEO of Product Hunt
In nearly three decades of leading T-groups at the Stanford GSB and with founders and executives at Leaders in Tech, I have firsthand knowledge of the transformative nature of T-groups. Anamaria has captured their essence—from confusion and boredom to life-changing insights and the birth of special relationships. If you want to learn what a T-group is all about – in all its glory and complexity – there is no better book!
— Carole Robin, PhD, Co-Author of Connect, Co-Founder of LIT & former Director of Interpersonal Dynamics at Stanford GSB
If Lencioni’s beloved “Five Dysfunctions of a Team” had a baby with Brene Brown’s books, you would get JUNCTURE. Having attended these magical events – but not being able to properly describe them to anyone effectively – I’m excited to share this with anyone who wants to learn these powerful ideas.
— Julia Hu, CEO & Co-Founder of Lark Health

  • I didn’t invent T-group. And T-group is not some Silicon Valley, Stanford, or California invention either. In brief, a T-group is an experiential learning model that was first experimented with in 1947 and then further refined and developed in the U.S. in the 1950s by the social science practitioners who would go on to found the non-profit international organization NTL Institute for Applied Science.
